Some 30 years ago, I recall a quote attributed to master investor, Warren Buffett, that went something along the lines: “Put all your eggs in a one small basket and then watch that basket very carefully.”
Taking Buffett’s advice to heart, I have decided to deploy additional funds into Intel. Even though Intel is already my single largest investment, at the time of my initial trade, it constituted almost 29% of the account opening value, I am now even more convinced that the market is going reprice the disparity that currently exists between Intel’s and Nvidia’s market capitalizations.
Therefore, I will be adding another Intel option to my position when the markets open in approximately 30 minutes:
I will buy 10 contracts of Intel’s October 27th, 2023, $43 out of the money calls. The current bid / ask is $0.75 / $0.80. Currently the Futures are indicating a down open so I may be able to snag these calls at a good price.
Will post an update after the markets close today.
Best~
