After the disastrous start to 2024, I am relieved to see the O2W portfolio stock performance slowly gaining back its traction…
But first, let’s check the general markets’ stock performance for the week ending January 19, 2024.
Weekly Market Snapshot:

Yet again this week, of the 3 indices, the Dow was the laggard, up only 0.72%, while the S&P was up a respectable 1.17% and the Nasdaq once again was the leader, up a solid 2.26%

In yet another sea of red, my 2 semiconductor holdings, INTC and QCOM, bucked the trend and swam against the tide to make gains. Luckily, these 2 stocks’ performance, but especially QCOM, allowed the O2W portfolio to not only overcome the losses of the others but help the overall portfolio to make an impressive gain for the week.
Now let’s check the stock performance of my O2W’s portfolio this past week…

The first three weeks of 2024 have been anything but boring… Week 1, I got my –40% shellacking; Week 2, the portfolio stabilized and was up a solid +18%; and this past week, Week 3, it is up another +22%. Hopefully the new upward trend will continue this coming week as well…keeping my fingers crossed.
I am still sitting on a relatively large cash position of $14,530.65, which is exactly 33% of the portfolio’s NAV, which I plan to deploy when one or more of my current holdings make an anticipated technical move(s)…Anyone care to take a guess?
Onwards and upwards!
