It was a decent week for the O2W portfolio…could have been a lot better had I not held on to my INTC February 16, $50 and $55 dollar calls…
But first, let’s look at how the overall markets performed this past week…
Index |
Weekly Close | Previous Weekly Close | Change | Percentage Change |
$DOW |
38,109.43 | 37,863.80 | 245.63 |

+1.06% |
$COMPX | 15,455.36 | 15,310.97 | 144.39 |
+0.94% |
This week’s top performing index was the S&P 500, up 1.06%. The Nasdaq followed close behind, up 0.94% and the Dow finished third, up 0.64%
Now let’s see how my portfolio companies did…
Company | Stock’s Previous Weekly Close | Current Weekly Close | Change | Percentage Change |
Amprius Technologies (AMPX) | $ 4.32 | $ 4.12 | – $0.20 | –4.63% |
Enphase Energy (ENPH) | $103.59 | $105.37 | + $1.78 | + 1.72% |
First Solar (FSLR) | $145.92 | $147.83 | + $1.91 | + 1.31% |
GigaCloud Technology (GCT) | $19.90 | $ 25.62 | + $5.72 | +28.74% |
Intel Corp. (INTC) | $48.15 | $ 43.65 | – $4.50 | –9.35% |
Mobileye Global (MBLY) | $28.34 | $ 28.38 | + $0.04 | + 0.14% |
Qualcomm, Inc. | $151.96 | $150.72 | – $1.21 | –0.80% |
StoneCo, Ltd. (STNE) | $17.03 | $ 18.10 | + $1.07 | +6.28% |
This past week was a mix bag. While GCT went back on steroids, up 28%+ for the week, Intel got clobbered. Needless to say, my Intel February 16, $50 and $55 calls were taken to the woodshed…Oh well, you win some and then on others, you get hammered! Unfortunately my INTC calls got run over by a Mack truck and I deserve getting clobbered for not getting out of my position.

Final Thoughts:
As of last Friday, my O2W portfolio is still down approx. 10% for the month of January 2024…however, there are still 3 trading days left and I am confident that by Wednesday, the last trading day in January, my O2W portfolio should surpass December 2023 closing value of $53,181.73. We shall see…
Currently, the O2W’s cash position of $18,219.90 is 38% of the portfolio’s NAV. In other words, O2W is swimming in cash. I plan to deploy a sizable portion of this cash tomorrow…
Onwards and upwards!
